I'm baaaack!

Thank you to my loyal readers, you know who you are, for all of the harassment. I am very sorry my little blog has been silent for so many months, but consider that dark period behind us. I am here and ready to write again!

So, why so quiet? Well honestly life in Guatemala sort of got so normal. Nothing seemed worthy of a post, of your time. And then we got down to the final little bit of time and it seemed like too many weird things were happening, too many brushes with sort of scary things and I just wanted to hunker down and ride out our final weeks so we could leave the Guate on a good note. Crazy I know, but hope you understand. And then all of sudden we were gone, our life in Guatemala done! SAD. I will never understand how two years went by so quickly.

Seriously, words cannot do justice or fully explain our love for this country, how special our time was, or how wonderful the friendships we made were. It was an incredible journey and adventure, Guatemala will always be our first love, and we can't thank all the people who visited enough, it was fun to share our life with you!

Adios Guatemala, you will be missed...

So what now?!?!? Well, we are back in AMERICA visiting with our friends and family and it feels so good.

We just finished an incredible twenty day road trip across the states, that post to come, and now we are getting ready to make our way back to DC...let the next adventure begin!!!
